New Rules for Treating Trauma: Greenville, SC
February 12, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm$219.99
In this workshop you’ll get up-to-date on the latest breakthroughs in trauma therapy and learn new techniques you can use right away!
In the morning, we’ll look at the neurobiology of trauma and how it impacts brain development, immune function, attachment style, and the therapeutic relationship. Next we’ll dive into the art of engaging traumatized clients and how to work with different attachment styles so you can earn their trust, instill hope, and help them move forward.
In the afternoon, we’ll get into my favorite topic: how to update traumatic memories and change core beliefs using memory reconsolidation! Memory reconsolidation is a recent scientific discovery that has revealed the brain’s own rules for updating neural networks.
I’ll provide you with an effective 5-step memory reconsolidation protocol you can use and demonstrate how to apply it for different types of trauma and clients.
Using this reconsolidation protocol was a game-changer for my clients because it enabled us to clear the root of troubling patterns and beliefs that had haunted them for years. Moreover, the protocol is uplifting (not painful) and will enable you to transform a traumatic memory in as few as 1-3 sessions.
